LG Electronics has officially announced to launch its flagship Android
smartphone for Japanese market, the LG Optimus G Pro. This smartphone was
release in Korea last month but the Japan edition is a smaller 5-inch screen
(instead of a 5.5-inch display) but same resolution. Folks in Japan can grab the
LG Optimus G Pro smartphone from NTT DoCoMo. There is no information about price
of the phone.
New LG Optimus G Pro has an attractive checkerboard-like pattern in the back.
To offers comfortable one-hand grip, the body handset has a minimum bezel.
Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, Japan’s Optimus Pro
smartphone packs a 5-inch touchscreen Full HD IPS 1080p display with pixel
density of 440ppi. LG’s 5-inch Optimus G Pro boasts a 1.7GHz APQ8064 quad-core
processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, and a 3,000mAh battery. For
those who want more storage space, there is an external microSD card.
The LG Optimus Pro smartphone delivers a 13-megapixel shooter on the back and
a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. Dimensions of the 5-inch Optimus G Pro are
139 x 70 x 9.9 mm. Other features are infrared, Dual Recording (enabling the
front and rear cameras simultaneously), and VR Panorama (supports a full 360
degree view).
